Ayesha's creative journey began at the College of Art and Design at the University of Punjab in Pakistan, where she honed her skills as an independent photographer for over eight years. Her passion for capturing the essence of human emotions is evident in her work, which speaks volumes about her talent and dedication.
With a Master's degree from the prestigious Australian Film Television and Radio School, specializing in Documentary Filmmaking, Ayesha brings a deep, autoethnographic approach to her craft. Her work reflects her diverse experiences and empathetic worldview, creating masterpieces that resonate universally.
Ayesha's artistry has not gone unnoticed. She has been recognized with multiple awards, including Best Documentary at the Australian Women's Film Festival 2023, Best Non-fiction at the National Black Snapper International Film Festival 2023, and Critic’s Choice at the Melbourne Women Film Festival 2024. She was also a finalist at the Melbourne Documentary Film Festival 2024 and the Australian Street Photography Festival 2023.
